What Does the Role Entail?
As the new Development Finance Broker & Operations Manager, you'll combine hands-on deal execution with operational oversight. You'll lead the charge on sourcing and structuring funding for development projects from £1m to £50m +, working closely with borrowers and lenders to deliver tailored financial solutions. Alongside that, you'll support the strategic side of the business-streamlining workflows, mentoring junior brokers, managing compliance, and contributing to how we scale and grow. This is a role with real breadth, perfect for someone who enjoys both client-facing and behind-the-scenes impact.
What Skills Will You Have?
You'll bring experience in development finance or a related broking or lending role, with a proven track record of structuring complex debt and equity deals. You'll have a sharp commercial instinct, strong lender relationships, and a deep understanding of funding strategies across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. You'll also have experience working with internal systems, whether that's CRMs like HubSpot or workflow tools, and you'll feel confident mentoring others, improving processes, and ensuring compliance. A background in high-growth environments or systems implementation would be a bonus.
