Job Title: International Construction - Broker Account ExecutiveLocation: City of LondonSalary: £80,000 per annumWork Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days in office, remainder remote)Responsibilities:*Assist in the placement process, including the gathering of information and preparation of underwriting submissions*Prepare documentation for existing customers related to renewals and mid-term adjustments, in partnership with account managers*Support Brokers in negotiating with insurers to obtain terms that accurately and effectively match client requirements*Follow up on quotations and provide general support to Brokers*Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately in internal systems*Handle insurer queries regarding customer policies*Assist with customer queries on existing policies and liaise with insurers regarding potential changes or new terms*Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies, and follow up on outstanding documentation*Handle account queries and credit control matters, ensuring timely resolution and escalation of any concerns*Manage personal workload effectively to maintain client relationships and ensure placements are completed to deadline*Support senior team members with the RFP processQualifications & Experience:*Working towards or holding a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Cert CII / Dip CII preferred)*Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent (desirable)*Basic knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyd's and wider industry), including insurance products, services, and legal principles*Prior insurance administration experience in a commercial setting (desirable)*Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel*Strong administrative and policy processing skills, with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail*Familiarity with client and market dynamics within the insurance industry*Able to meet targets and deadlines with confidence*Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills*Self-motivated with a proactive approach to teamwork*Exceptional customer service orientation*Able to identify risks/issues and escalate appropriately*Excellent planning and analytical skills*Must be eligible to work in the UK
