An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a leading international property team that delivers global insurance, reinsurance and risk management solutions for complex and hard-to-place property risks. This is your chance to work with a team renowned for its deep expertise, especially in high-exposure territories such as the USA, Canada, Australia and the Caribbean.We work with a diverse client base including direct insureds, retail and wholesale Brokers and insurance companies, offering innovative solutions when local markets fall short on capacity or technical understanding.

Key responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute placement strategies for a broad range of international property risks
  • Handle primary, layered and structured insurance placements
  • Offer bespoke solutions, from single policy placements to portfolio and facility structures
  • Review and analyse existing insurance coverage for improvement opportunities

Lines of business include:

  • Property damage & business interruption (all risk or named perils)
  • Standalone catastrophe perils (e.g., windstorm, earthquake, flood)
  • Deductible buydowns & carveouts
  • Construction & engineering (CAR/EAR)
  • Machinery breakdown
  • Contractor's plant & equipment (CPE)
  • Parametric insurance solutions

Client types:

  • Global programs and multi-national accounts
  • High-hazard real estate portfolios
  • Manufacturing, food processing, chemicals, cold storage
  • Leisure and hospitality (e.g., hotels, breweries, wineries)
  • Airports, ports, terminals, marinas
  • Power & utilities, renewable energy
  • Waste & recycling industries

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of property placing experience in the London insurance market
  • Strong technical knowledge of international property insurance
  • Proven ability to design and place complex or non-standard risk solutions
  • Effective communication with global clients and market stakeholders
