An Accounts Manager is required for a medium-sized accountancy firm in London. The role is a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

- Planning, prioritisation and allocation of client work ensuring effective team workflow
- Establishment of scope and budget for each piece of client accounts work under own control
- Ensure adequate briefing to team members
- Preparation or delegation of key client accounts work in line with agreed budget
- Maximise efficiencies with the team and service line
Profile
- Ownership of a client portfolio and contacts for ongoing management and development
- Supervision and training of junior staff
- Experience with preparing and reviewing FRS 102 Section 1A accounts
- Supporting business development activities
- Experience of reviewing management accounts and supporting clients with their accounting needs
- Experience of preparing and/or reviewing IFRS/FRS101 financial statements preferable.
- Software experience - Xero, Silverfin preferable, Caseware preferable
