Reed Practice is excited to partner with a prestigious accountancy firm located in the vibrant area of Barnes. As part of their rapid expansion, they are seeking a seasoned Accounts and Tax Manager. This pivotal role involves leading a dynamic team and upholding the highest standards of accountancy and tax services for a diverse and growing client portfolio.
Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise and manage a team that includes trainees and semi seniors, ensuring effective training and development.
- Oversee the preparation and review of accounts and tax returns whilst taking a lead on more complex accounts and tax returns, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and maintaining high standards of client service.
- Work closely with both the tax and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Engage with new clients and manage their accounts and tax needs effectively.
- ACCA or ACA qualification with at least 3 years PQE experience, or significant experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in a medium-sized top 50 accountancy practice with exposure to large or complex clients.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to train and develop junior staff.
- Excellent knowledge of accountancy and tax, with proficiency in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Iris and Sage Accounts Production.
- Local to the Barnes area with a robust understanding of the needs of high-value clients.
