This statutory and independent public body is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team in London.

In this pivotal role, you will:

Lead on financial reporting and analysis, delivering high-quality, timely financial processes, reports, and advice to senior and middle management, the Board, and our sponsoring department.
Act as a finance business partner, supporting the wider organisation by resolving queries, enhancing financial awareness, and driving improvements in financial processes.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions within SAP, in full compliance with internal policies and HM Treasury guidance (FreM, CBG).
Manage and develop junior finance staff, including Finance Assistants and Administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Support the Finance Manager, contributing to the overall effectiveness and resilience of the finance function.
