Role: Project Administration Assistant Manager of Financial Accounting
Hybrid working: 1 day in the office/4 days remote

Our client provides various IT services to their group companies in the EMEA & CIS region, with a total of more than 50 offices and 1,000 users. The London office has around 130 staff and contractors working for them.
Summary of the department job role will be in:
This position will be responsible for order-to-cash and procure-to-pay process from accounting and administrative perspective as an Assistant Manager.
Following a successful probationary period in this role, there is potential for the postholder to be promoted to a Managerial position whereby they will manage both the Project Administration and Financial Accounting teams.
The postholder will also be entitled to receive an increase based on the change of job role and subsequent promotion.
As a Project Administration & Financial Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for monthly/year-end closing, preparing financial statements, preparing and managing audits, and taxes etc.
Job brief:
Project Administration Assistant Manager [First six months]
- Responsible for creating sales quotations, sales orders, sales invoices, and purchase orders using SAP S/4Hana acting as an Assistant Manager.
- Ensuring all the sales and cost of sales are accurately booked in accordance with company’s accounting policy and GAAP.
- Managing a team of 5 Assistant Accountant Administrators and assigning the team’s tasks and/or projects to individuals.
- Improving order-to-cash and procure-to-pay process and updating operation manual after consultations with the Corporate Manager and financial accounting team.
- Preparing data according to the requirement of IFRS 15 and answering all enquiries requested by internal and external auditors.
- Dealing with email inquiries including the internal administrative support and inquiries by the third parties including customers and suppliers.
- Responding to ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Corporate Manager/ business department Managers.
Financial Accounting & Project Administration Manager [After six months]
- Overseeing the daily activities of the Financial Accounting team, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring data security.
- Developing accounting policies in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and implementing procedures with SAP S/4HANA to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Calculating and filing corporate tax returns for the company with a professional firm.
- Managing all aspects of the audit process.
- Supervising, training, and mentoring members of the Financial Accounting team.
Skills & Knowledge essential for the role:
- ACCA qualified or part qualified with strong experience in an accounting management position.
- Must be confident in managing and delegating to a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and non-finance departments.
- Must possess excellent prioritisation skills and ability to work in accordance with deadlines.
- Experience as an Accounting Manager in small-mid size company, handling over all accounting and tax functions
