Associate Director - Risk & Quality (Financial Advisory)

Location: London

We are partnering with a leading global advisory firm to appoint an Associate Director to join their Risk & Quality Management team within their Financial Advisory division. As a key hire, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of risk, compliance, and quality improvement across a broad suite of financial advisory services.

The Role:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to deal teams across the UK and internationally
  • Support complex, multi-jurisdictional client engagements
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and engagement risk management
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, policies, and standard templates
  • Collaborate with legal on contracting matters
  • Contribute to internal and external quality reviews

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong background in client-facing financial advisory (restructuring, M&A, forensic, debt advisory, valuations, modelling, or corporate finance)
  • Experience with large, cross-border engagements is an advantage
  • Knowledge of UK insolvency processes is beneficial
  • Familiarity with risk management and contracting in professional services
  • Good working knowledge of the ICAEW Code of Ethics
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks such as FCA, DFSA, or FINRA is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
