Our client a well known Insurance Company are actively looking to hire 6 Category Managers, with either Professional Services or IT Category experience.
Hybrid Working: Various Offices available (London, Bristol, York or Norwich) - 2 Days a Week onsite
Competitive Rates (InsideIR35).

Senior Category Manager (multiple vacancies available)
- High volume, multiple tenders
- Professional Services Category (primary consulting £120m spend)
- Need to move quickly in this category, request from business to selection / onboarding is quick
- Don't really need to manage suppliers, more about managing multiple tenders , contract negotiation, selection etc
- FCA useful
- Non-IT Categories fine if not Consulting
- Good work ethic , not always working to rule
Senior Category Managers (1 Vacancy Available)
- Managing complex negotiations of outsourcing activity
- Much more complex and in depth
- Category is all non-IT - Customer Claims, Offshoring etc, more customer facing role.
- Will need strong outsourcing experience
- Strong stakeholder management / influencing

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Commercial and stakeholder management skills and proven track record of building strong internal business relationships
- Experience and a proven track record of delivering Commercial, SRM, or Category Management within a demanding, fast evolving environment
- Leading and managing sourcing processes
- Developing and negotiating agreements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent preferable
- CIPS qualification desirable
- Working ideally within the Financial Services or Insurance related Environment
- Knowledge of People & Professional Services OR IT Vendors/Suppliers (ALL Areas Required across Suppliers)
