This role will oversee all financial functions including governance, planning, investment, funding, and compliance, while ensuring alignment with the broader strategic vision of my client.SKILLSProven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive within large-scale infrastructure, real estate, or investment-focused organizations.Demonstrated success in leading financial strategy for complex, multi-phase development projects.Deep understanding of capital markets, international financing instruments, and investor relations.Experience working in or with emerging markets is strongly preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in English required; proficiency in Kurdish or Arabic is a plus.CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial designation preferred; MBA or Master’s in Finance is advantageous.Responsibilities:Financial Governance & StrategyDesign and implement robust financial governance structures to ensure transparencyCompliance and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.Define long-term financial strategy in alignment with the strategic and commercial objectives of the development.Capital Planning & Investment ManagementLead capital structure planning including debt/equity strategiesDevelop sophisticated investment models to assess risk-adjusted returns and secure investor buy-in.Engage with local and international banks, investment partners and financial institutions to structure financing packages.Budgeting Forecasting & ReportingOversee the creation and continuous refinement of project budgets forecasts and financial plans.Implement rigorous reporting frameworks to provide real-time financial insights and performance tracking.
