Job Description

This role demands a seasoned financial professional capable of managing complex, multinational financial operations, delivering strategic insights, and ensuring alignment with both regional and global objectives. Key responsibilities will be across; Performance management, Providing strategic support for major CAPEX decisions, Process improvement and systems optimisation, as well as leading the production of consolidated accounts and statutory reporting for the European group companies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.The role will collaborate closely with the European CEO and European leadership team, local Financial Directors, and finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure consistent financial management and reporting practices. There will be a dotted line into Group and close working relationship with Group CFO.Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, including roles as Finance Director, Group FC, or equivalent in a multinational organisation.
  • Expertise in statutory accounts, consolidation accounts, treasury operations, and management accounting.
  • Solid experience in working with external auditors and managing end-to-end audit processes.
  • Strong experience in coordinating financial operations across multiple countries, ensuring internal control including compliance with international and local regulations by leveraging ERP system.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, statutory reporting, and ERP systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of IFRS, local UK and European accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and their application in multinational settings.
  • Excellent leadership, team management and people engagement skills
  • The ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong focus on results.
