Role – Chief Financial Officer – CFO aka Financial Director

Salary – Competitive / Open excellent bens

Location – Mayfair – Near Green Park 2 days office (or more if you prefer)

The Role

Strategic Influence – You’ll lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management to support long-term growth and operational efficiency.Executive Impact – Work closely with the Board and CEO to develop and deliver an aligned corporate and financial strategy.Cultural Change Agent – Drive a commercial mindset throughout the organisation, embedding robust financial processes, procurement excellence, and risk-awareness.Transformational Delivery – Lead the implementation of a modern finance system that supports insight-led decision-making and future growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, planning, and corporate structure
  • Lead financial forecasting, performance reporting, and Board-level insight
  • Deliver best-in-class budgeting, financial governance, and control
  • Own the audit process, tax compliance, and internal financial policies
  • Provide financial leadership across major business projects and joint ventures
  • Champion a value-led procurement strategy and risk management framework
  • Represent the Club to key financial stakeholders: banks, investors, auditors
  • Lead the development of an integrated, strategic corporate plan aligned with financial goals

What success looks like:

  • A clean year-end, audit, and high-quality Board reporting
  • Financial systems upgrade scoped and implemented
  • Value-for-money procurement processes rolled out
  • Clear risk framework in place, influencing Board-level discussions
  • A commercially focused culture with measurable cost control and revenue growth

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a proven track record in dynamic CFO roles
  • Extensive experience driving organisational change and embedding financial best practice
  • Strong grasp of corporate finance, financial law, risk management, and performance strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial transformation and implement modern systems – Finance / ERP
  • Confident communicator, able to influence at Board level and lead diverse teams
