We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in Barnes, who are looking to bring an Accountancy Manager into their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with real autonomy, client contact, and long-term development potential.

The Role:

As an Accountancy Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients – handling everything from financial statements and tax compliance to supervising junior team members. This is a hands-on, client-facing role in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of accountancy clients across a range of sectors

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102(1A)

  • Oversee and support a small team, including qualified accountants

  • Provide clients with sound tax advice and ensure compliance

  • Use cloud-based software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks

About You:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)

  • Currently working in a reputable UK accountancy practice

  • Comfortable preparing full financial statements independently

  • Strong knowledge of small business tax

  • Experienced in staff supervision or team leadership

  • Proficient with modern accountancy software and systems
