Description

• Prepare and deliver clear, insightful financial reports tailored to departments, partners, and other stakeholders
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to help teams plan effectively
• Partner closely with fee-earning teams to provide proactive financial support and build trusted relationships with senior leaders
• Conduct ad hoc analysis on performance and trends, including variances, cost and income breakdowns, profitability drivers, and survey data
• Promote data accuracy and consistency by ensuring correct use of systems and data structures (e.g. client partners, matter types)
• Contribute to the enhancement of management reporting tools and processes to improve decision-making

Profile

A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have:

• Studying towards or qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• A proven track record in a professional services environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders with clear financial insights.
• Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
