JAG Talent is seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager for a prominent high street retailer in West London.
The role involves being the primary business partner for the Retail team, focusing on strategic recommendations for store portfolio management.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a consumer or retail business and hold a relevant qualification such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
The position offers a salary range of £70,000 to £80,000 and requires three days a week in the office.
Key responsibilities include managing forecasts, budgeting for retail stores, and leading a team of one analyst.

JAG Talent is currently partnered with a well know high street retailer to hire a Senior Commercial Finance Manager into the team. In this role you will be the key business partner for the Retail team, taking the lead on the groups portfolio of stores, making recommendations for strategic change. Leading a team of 1 you will drive forecasts and budgeting process for sales and profitability. This is a permanent role with 3 days per week in the office based in West London. Key Responsibilities:

Finance Business Partner with Directors to ensure Finance team has a strong understanding of UK Retail Operations
Delivery of insightful performance of UK Retail, identifying risk and opportunities to ensure targets for Sales and Profitability are met.
Own forecast and budgeting for Retail Stores.
Set up modelling/ scenario analysis to assess sensitivity to numbers presented.
Manage 1 Analyst to ensure monthly responsibilities are met - Store costs, property costs and retail team overheads.
Monthly board pack analysis
Cashflow forecast for occupancy costs
Ad-Hoc projects as desired

Experience Required:

Prior experience in a consumer / retail business.
Qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with commercial finance experience.
Proactive, resilient, adaptable, and “can-do” team player with a drive to make a difference
Excellent communication – ability to articulate orally and in writing, complex and detailed information in an easy-to-understand manner to all levels of the business
