Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a London-based College to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent, full-time, basis.
Our client is on a journey of continuous improvement to their financial management function and this role will be integral to levelling up.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of three days per week in the office – which is highly accessible via both public transport and car (on-site parking is available).
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for;
- Preparing management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis designed to be easily interpreted by non-financial stakeholders.
- Supporting non-financial stakeholders across the College with management of their finances, in particular budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Aiding less experienced colleagues in their growth and development, not through direct line management but leading by example and offering support.
- Running a smooth month end process, ensuring financial information such a prepayments, journals and accruals are accurate and uploaded to the system.
- Undertaking financial analysis on diverse income streams and scrutinising information to find opportunity.
Our client is seeking;
- An experienced Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner, ideally with exposure to working in the Further Education sector.
- A part qualified accountant or finalist with a desire to conclude their studies, which would be supported by our client.
- Someone who is willing to share their skills and experience in financial management with colleagues.
- A strong communicator with demonstrable experience building relationships with non-financial stakeholders.
- A proactive individual who is able to work as part of a team, and independently. Â
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant with a background in financial management to add value in a collaborative environment facilitating opportunity for personal and team growth.
The benefits package on offer is generous, with 30 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays) and over 15% employer pension contribution.
