About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join a brewery as they complete their business restructure and move into a new phase of profitable and sustainable growth. You’ll take full ownership of the finance function across the brewery, working directly with the founders to drive commercial strategy, lead financial planning, and help shape the future of the company. They're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, founder-led environment - someone commercially sharp, deeply collaborative, and ready to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team post-restructure, overseeing all financial activity across both arms of the business.
- Be the go-to finance partner for the founders and senior leadership team.
- Build robust internal controls and improve processes across the function.
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting including weekly cash flow updates and monthly P&Ls.
- Own budgets, forecasts, and financial models that underpin growth and investor readiness.
- Transparency and financial clarity across departments, making data accessible and actionable.
- Oversee debt management and cash optimisation, including support with fundraising and M&A activity.
- Responsible for all statutory and tax compliance.
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with 5+ years in senior finance roles.
- Previously led finance in a growth-stage or founder-led SME.
- Experiece with Xero, Excel, and financial modelling.
- The ability to lead, coach, and inspire a small but capable team.
- Commercial and strategic thinking.
- A passion for clarity, integrity, and getting the details right.
Salary + other information
- £80,000 - £90,000
- Hybrid
