The Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to join our London-based team and take ownership of day-to-day finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (or up to 5 years PQE) with a background in industry and a passion for fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

You'll be pivotal in supporting the financial health of the business through accurate reporting, cash management, and insightful analysis. You’ll also play a key role in optimising finance processes and supporting strategic decisions as we scale across retail and D2C channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the finance function, managing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end processes using Xero
  • Produce monthly management accounts and provide commentary for leadership
  • Deliver commercial analysis and insights to support decision-making (e.g. margin, pricing, performance by channel)
  • Work closely with operations and supply chain to understand cost drivers and stock movements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow modelling
  • Assist in year-end audit preparation and liaise with external accountants
  • Drive process improvements and automation as the business grows

About You

  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or up to 5 years post-qualified experience
  • Likely trained in industry rather than practice
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Confident managing AP, AR, and management reporting independently
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a small but fast-paced team
  • Prior experience in SMEs, manufacturing or consumer goods is a bonus - but not essential
