Prestigious boutique Stockbrokers who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager working closely with senior leadership and partners, you will play a key role in providing strategic financial insight, enhancing internal controls, and supporting the firm’s long-term planning.

You must have experience working in a regulatory environment to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day Finance functions.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for the individual entities (including two regulated entities)
  • Liaising both internally and externally to ensure that all debtors are received and payments to creditors made in a timely fashion.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of cash management including the preparation and help monitor the future cash flow forecasts.
  • Responsible for the all the financial management and reporting aspects of the market making book.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for audit purposes.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns, liaising with HMRC to resolve VAT issues.
  • Preparing and submitting FCA returns.
  • Preparation of Corporation tax, VAT and ERS returns.
  • Manage payroll and expense function.
  • Preparation for and management of the year-end audit process.
  • Preparation and management of the annual budgeting process.
  • Help to develop management and risk information for ZCL including work on ICARA.
  • Assist with PSA reporting.
  • Preparation of Management Information reporting eg analysis of data as required.
  • Pershing/Fidessa financial reporting..

Required Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA (studying or qualified)
  • Previous experience within a similar role/regulated environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel: comfortable with pivot tables, graphs, v-lookups and large raw data.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
  • QuickBooks experience is beneficial.
  • Pershing/Fidessa financial reporting experience desired
