Due to natural growth, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our client and play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of their establishment. This position is based between Fulham and Tooting with potential for hybrid working. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate to prepare monthly management accounts and ensure timely delivery.- Process supplier invoices and maintain precise financial records.- Manage the orderly filing and maintenance of financial documentation.- Prepare and administer the weekly supplier payment schedule to ensure prompt payments.- Provide necessary support during audits by furnishing auditors with requested information and documentation.- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and reconcile other balance sheet accounts to safeguard financial integrity.- Issue termly fee invoices and communicate with Local Authorities to coordinate fees- Participate in the annual budget preparation to help set realistic financial goals.- Handle orders and process credit card payments with efficiency and accuracy.- Pursue outstanding fee payments and maintain effective follow-up procedures.- Manage petty cash transactions and perform account reconciliations.- Ensure purchase orders are in line with approved budgets.- Generate and manage sales invoices each term.- Offer administrative assistance for budget-setting initiatives and the month-end closing process.- Get involved with insurance renewals and the management of lease agreements as needed.- Facilitate the organization's transition towards a paperless finance system, improving efficiency and reducing waste.- Process staff expenses and ensure timely reimbursements.- Contribute to the production of month-end accounts under the guidance of the Financial Controller.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and external stakeholders.- Solid understanding of accounting principles, with hands-on experience in managing financial records and reports.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.- Experience in conducting bank and other reconciliations.- Familiarity with the education sector and related financial practices is desirable but not essential.- Commitment to discreet and confidential handling of sensitive financial information.
