Finance Manager – Talent & Entertainment (Client Accounting) | £40,000–£55,000 | Hybrid (Central London)A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the in-house finance team of a leading talent and entertainment group. Operating across music, TV, digital and live events, this business supports a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients in the creative industries.This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a strong focus on client accounting, royalty reconciliation, management reporting and payroll oversight. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, creative teams, and external partners to ensure financial integrity across the group.Key Responsibilities Client & Management Accounting
  • Lead on quarterly royalty reconciliations and client accounting
  • Support VAT return preparation and monthly management accounts
  • Oversee monthly payroll (bonuses, pensions, commissions)
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting and intercompany recharges
  • Reconcile credit card expenditure and analyse spend
Client Finance & Operations
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and payment allocation in Xero
  • Manage weekly client pay runs using industry-standard platforms
  • Raise VAT, commission, and self-billing invoices
  • Process supplier invoices and maintain supplier records
  • Chase debtors and maintain accurate records
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with agents, production companies, and record labels
  • Liaise with senior leadership and external accountants
  • Act as a point of contact for all finance-related queries
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and processes
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 5–7 years' client-facing finance experience
  • AAT qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA part- or fully qualified desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Xero 
  • Background in music, media or entertainment preferred
  • Confident, detail-oriented and highly organised
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
