Cedar is supporting a privately owned wholesale business in their search for a Finance Manager. This is a pivotal role, reporting into the Finance Director and working cross functionally to provide financial insight, business partnering, and strategic support. You will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day financial operations, forecasting, budgeting, and helping shape decisions that drive long-term value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management accounts, reporting, and financial controls
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to deliver insights and improve performance
  • Manage cash flow and support financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
  • Contribute to strategic projects and system improvements

About You:

  • Fully qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate financial information clearly
  • Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brands preferred
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a confident business partner
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
