Leading interior design company are recruiting a standalone finance manager to join the finance team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who is AAT qualified or qualified by experience who is well versed with Sage 50 accounts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, financially stable company in the capacity of finance manager where you will be the sole person running the finance department.

Exposure to project accounting, experience of revenue recognition or work in progress (WIP) reporting would be beneficial for this role. Ideally you will live within 45 minutes commute of Southwest London.

This is exciting opportunity an immediate start (however they can accommodate a month’s notice period) role. The interview process is a two-stage process, initially a telephone call, followed by a face-to-face interview in the office.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Completing daily transactional accounting (accounts receivable and accounts payable) using Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Processing payroll in full and HR preparations - including contracts and pension auto-enrolment. Ideally have used Sage HR & Payroll.
  • Preparing quarterly commissions as well as daily tracking of targets.
  • Preparation and analysis of margins and figures.
  • Completing nominal and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Production of monthly management accounts.
  • Processing of all supplier/payroll/expense payments.
  • Statutory returns including PAYE, VAT, personal Tax Returns.
  • Monthly credit card expenditure reconciliation.
  • Collating all year-end information and liaising with external Accountants.
  • Management of company fleet and business insurances.
