We are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at our London Head Office. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional with a background in accounts payable and a keen interest in operational finance, looking to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee and enhance transactional processes including accounts payable and other financial operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes across all entities within the Group.
  • Manage and optimise supplier relationships and maintain the purchase ledger.
  • Support the bookkeeping process and ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior personnel, including the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer, in budgeting, financial reporting, and the annual audit.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency within the finance department.
  • Regularly review and draft new financial policies and procedures to adapt to changing business needs and ensure best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar role within operational finance.
  • Strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the capability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a ‘can do’ attitude.
