Finance Manager

An opportunity has arisen with an expanding insurance group for a qualified accountant to join and mentor a small team as a Finance Manager

Core responsibilities will include

  • Financial Reporting & Control: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory accounts for multiple entities. Maintain robust financial reporting and controls framework, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP a plus).
  • Insurance Finance: Oversee insurance funds, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with group and carrier requirements. Monitor insurance balances and address issues promptly.
  • Treasury & Bank Management: Manage bank payments and execute FX trades.
  • Tax Planning & Compliance: Oversee all tax, regulatory, and financial compliance matters, ensuring accurate and timely tax returns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small finance team
