Title: FP&A Manager (12 month FTC)
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000

Our client, a PE backed global shipping group with operations across 60 countries, are currently seeking a technically adept FP&A Manager to join their Group finance team in London on a 12-month FTC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts using a rolling forecast approach, and support the development of financial covenant projections.
- Create and manage executive-level reporting packs for senior leadership and board presentations.
- Lead the coordination of the annual budgeting cycle and recurring forecast updates globally.
- Manage the monthly Flash EBITDA reporting process, collaborating closely with regional teams and the central accounting function to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting for select executive departments, supporting effective financial planning and delivering clear performance insights.
- Identify, design, and roll out new KPIs to better measure and track business performance.
- Build and refine financial planning models and tools, ensuring seamless integration with systems such as Hyperion.
- Conduct financial analysis, modelling, and due diligence in support of potential mergers, acquisitions, or investment projects.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent; advanced academic qualifications are a plus.
- Holding or pursuing a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA) is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Solid grasp of core accounting standards and basic investment principles.
- Familiarity with IFRS, with the capability to compile statutory financial statements.
- Skilled at communicating financial insights to audiences without a financial background.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships.
- Comfortable using PowerPoint for presenting financial information.
- Proficient in Excel, including the ability to build integrated financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Experience using Hyperion or comparable financial reporting tools is preferred.
