Equifind have teamed up with a market leading investment management firm in London, who are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join the business for the next year.
This is your bread-and-butter FP&A role, which will give you maximum exposure to the commercials, giving you full ownership of the budgeting & forecasting cycles, in addition to building models and dashboards for the team. You’ll get some great exposure to an international business, so a very exciting opportunity.
You’ll be working alongside a great finance team and varied stakeholders across the business.

Key duties and responsibilities for this FP&A Manager position include but aren’t limited to:
- Budget-setting at a Group and Business unit level, to incorporate P&L, cashflow and balance sheet
- Rolling forecasts as above, including the managing of a diverse range of inputs, identifying risks & opportunities, providing insight and commentary as required
- Compile monthly MI packs for provision to the Executive Team & the Board
- Business and Investment case modelling
- Cashflow forecasting
- Assistance with on-going systems development and implementation ensuring the benefits are understood, documented and realised across the group as a whole
- Design and implementation of various reporting dashboards with relevant KPIs for the Group and business units reporting using Microsoft Power BI
- Enhance data integrity and reporting controls to enable agile scenario reporting and analysis
- Analysing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management
- Analysing previous budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies
- Prepare specific analysis and special projects as required
Experience & Qualification
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5-8 years PQE
- Power BI experience is ESSENTIAL
- Experience of the FS sector is beneficial
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong budget setting and forecasting experience
- Experience of working in a dynamic financial environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident communicator, comfortable at all levels of the business.
- Real team player and can work well with stakeholders across offices

An established investment management firm in central London, who have enjoyed considerable growth over the past 20 years. The business focuses on multiple investment strategies across the globe and has deployed over £5bAUM across the years. There is a real hunger to keep growing and evolving as a business.
The organisation has around 40 employees in the London office, so you will be joining an established finance team. The business operates mostly from the office, so you will be required to be office-based most of the time. Flexibility will be granted as and when needed.

Rate/Salary
This exciting opportunity for a FP&A Manager will pay between £80k-£95k, depending on your experience and industry background.
This assignment is earmarked to be for a minimum 12 months but might extend longer or be made into a permanent hire.
