Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-backed consumer business undergoing large-scale transformation to recruit an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to support their Technology function. This high-impact role sits at the heart of investment decision-making and performance strategy, with a focus on driving value creation through financial insight. The contract is outside IR35, offering a day rate of £600-£700.

The Role
Partnering directly with Technology leadership, you will:
- Lead financial evaluation of major technology investments, business cases, and transformation initiatives.
- Act as a strategic advisor, using financial insight to shape long-term planning, innovation funding, and portfolio prioritisation.
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to assess ROI and scenario outcomes across technology programmes.
- Deliver high-quality analysis on key drivers of technology performance, enabling proactive course correction and value tracking.
- Build compelling investment cases, clearly articulating commercial outcomes and risk-return profiles to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Transformation to align financial planning with delivery roadmaps.
- Influence and challenge senior stakeholders, ensuring financial rigour in strategic decision-making.
Your Profile
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with a strong track record in commercial finance or business partnering.
- Experience supporting Technology, Product, or Change functions in a transformation-led business.
- Demonstrated success in evaluating large-scale investment cases, digital programmes, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and storytelling capability, able to communicate complex data with clarity and impact.
- Comfortable operating in a PE-backed, high-change environment with competing priorities and fast timelines.
Compensation & Benefits
