Interim Finance Manager | Fast Growth Live Entertainment Business | 9 Month Contract

Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UKs most exciting and fast growth live entertainment businesses, as they search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team following a recent successful fundraise. This is an initial 9 month contract, Outside IR35, with potential to be extended.

The Business:

Founded by several entrepreneurs with a career in and a lifelong love of the performing arts and music space, this business has gone from strength to strength since inception 9 years ago. Entering into its next growth stage, the business has recently raised significant capital in a funding round and require additional support in the finance function.

With a business model centred around curating and promoting best in class live music and performing arts events, our client are now boasting turnover of circa £21million and 25% revenue growth year-on-year since covid. With headcount at circa 50, the business is proud to have retained their tight knit culture revolving around a love of live music and the arts.

The Role:

This role will report into a fantastic CFO who places a genuine interest in mentorship and development, offering the opportunity to become part of an innovative business ready to continue their outward scaling.

With core duties covering the oversight and management of essential financial functions such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and driving process improvements throughout the finance department, there will be high levels of autonomy and influence on offer throughout the length of the contract.

The Duties:

  • Overseeing month-end close procedures and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
  • Contributing to effective cash flow planning and forecasting
  • Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Delivering strategic financial insights and analysis to executive leadership
  • Lead on driving improvements for systems and processes throughout the finance department
  • Ensuring financial compliance, including timely submission of VAT and tax returns
  • Assisting the CFO with various financial tasks and special projects
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and support informed decision-making

What we need to see (essential):

  • ACA / CIMA / ACCA Qualified
  • Strong interpersonal skills and mindset of continuous learning

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Experience in either hospitality, performing arts, live entertainment

Day Rate: £350 - £500 (Outside IR35)

Contract Length: 9 months (potential to extend)
