Interim Finance Manager | Rapidly Scaling Fintech Business | 6-Month Contract
Harmonic is collaborating with a fast-growing, VC-backed scale-up to find an Interim Finance Manager. This 6-month contract position is based in London (Hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 remote) and offers the chance to play a key role supporting the Finance Director during a period of expansion. The role sits Outside IR35.
The Business
Our client is a pioneering Fintech firm who have reached profitability and expanded headcount significantly to over 100. With their operations expanding quickly across various regions, they require a Finance Manager to support with the finance function.
The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee and manage essential financial functions such as financial reporting, owning month-end, AP/AR, payroll as well as supporting with the audit process. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial management experience from a start-up or scale-up background.
Duties
- Providing insightful P&L analysis
- Managing month-end close processes and ensuring accuracy in financial statements
- Ensuring a smooth audit process and liaising closely with external parties
- Owning the Payroll process as well as AP/AR
- Assisting with financial system improvements
- Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc financial queries and projects
What we need to see (essential)
- Experience in financial management, ideally within a start-up/scale-up
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or pursuing qualification
What we'd like to see (bonus)
- Fintech, Financial Services or Tech company experience
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office)
Day Rate: £300-400 - Outside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
