Finance Project Manager (part-time, 3 days) - Interim 7 months, day rate - London with flexible hybrid working

A successful, high-profile organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to take full financial ownership of one of its largest annual international projects, scheduled to take place in overseas in late 2025. With a project budget of approximately $7-8 million, and operations run through a US entity, this is a senior, hands-on role requiring excellent commercial acumen and cross-border financial expertise.

About the Role:Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Global Projects Director, you will be accountable for the end-to-end financial management of the project, ensuring commercial rigour, timely reporting, and financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial processes for the project, including cashflow, P&L management, reconciliation, and payment runs

  • Act as the key point of contact between internal teams, suppliers, and external partners

  • Oversee supplier contracts and ensure alignment with project budgets and scope

  • Manage FX exposure and reporting across multiple currencies and regions

  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and accounting professionals to ensure governance across UK, US, and Brazil

  • Design and maintain robust financial reporting, tracking, and workflow systems

About You:

  • A senior Commercial Finance Manager or International Project Finance Manager

  • Experience managing financial operations through a US entity

  • Strong understanding of FX management and multi-region financial operations

  • Hands-on experience in P&L, AP/AR, project cashflow, and supplier management

  • Proficient with SharePoint, Excel, and accounting systems such as Sage and Xero

  • Comfortable working independently, with excellent attention to detail and stakeholder communication
