Cedar is currently partnered with a Global Financial Services business to help them secure an Interim Financial Reporting Manager. The role is to support the Director of Reporting and would be based in their office in The City. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying between £75,000 - £95,000.

The Role

As Reporting Manager, you would consolidate accounts under IFRSIFRS, oversee subsidiary reporting, enhance processes and controls, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and integrate acquisitions. You would support audits, financial reviews, and technical accounting.

  • Prepare and deliver consolidated Group accounts and financial statements under IFRSIFRS, US GAAPGAAP, and FRS102.
  • Oversee subsidiary financial statements audited globally, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
  • Set and manage timetables for annual, interim, and quarterly reporting.
  • Collaborate on technical accounting matters, including new standards and audit preparation.
  • Enhance corporate reporting processes, governance, and compliance with non-financial reporting obligations.
  • Conduct reviews of legal entity financialsfinancials and address auditor inquiries.
  • Improve processes, integrate acquisitions, and strengthen financial controls across the Finance team.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

  • A formal Accountancy Qualification (e.g. ACAACA, ACCAACCA, CA, etc).
  • Experience within an acquisitive, fast-growth environment
  • Experience gained within a large, complex environment.
  • Experience dealing with multiple robust internal and external stakeholders.
  • The salary of £75,000 - £95,000 represents either a logical increase in your earnings or a similar level to your previous experience.
  • Prior experience within a Financial Services business is useful.
