Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-backed business to secure an Interim FP&A Manager based in Central London. This role is offered on a 6-month contract, outside IR35, paying a competitive day rate. With ambitious plans for growth and change, the business is investing in its finance infrastructure, commercial decision-making capability, and systems - creating a highly dynamic and challenging environment for experienced finance professionals.

The Role

As Interim FP&A Manager, you will support the Group Finance leadership across the FP&A and reporting landscape. This hands-on position combines BAU responsibility with first-time implementation and change activity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting consolidated monthly management accounts across multiple entities
  • Reviewing submissions, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and interpreting group-level variances
  • Leading aspects of budget and forecast cycles, including template rollout and process design
  • Contributing to the design of a future-fit FP&A structure and reporting infrastructure
  • Supporting lender reporting through the creation and presentation of high-quality packs
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and insight to drive commercial decision-making
  • Supporting system selection and planning tool implementation

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

  • A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)
  • Strong FP&A experience within group or multi-entity environments
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles
  • Comfort reviewing, challenging, and interpreting financial submissions
  • A process improvement mindset, ideally with experience in transformation or first-time implementations
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders in fast-paced, private equity-backed environments

The day rate will reflect market value and be commensurate with experience.
