My client is the successful trading subsidiary of a charity, is looking for an Interim Head of Commercial Finance for a 6-month contract. This role will involve leading the finance function while supporting senior leadership and business partners to align financial strategies with the organisation’s goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial metrics.
- Providing in-depth financial analysis to guide strategic decisions and service development.
- Monitoring financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving commercial activity.
- Financial modelling to support pricing and cost recovery strategy.

To be considered, candidates should:
- Be a fully qualified accountant with experience presenting complex financial information to Exec and Board
- Have a proven track record in finance leadership in a commercially-operating entity, ideally with experience reviewing contract pricing and supporting commerciality and investment decisions.
- Be experienced in financial analysis, budget management, and leading audits.
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills at senior leadership and board level.
