As a tax manager in this Corporate Tax team, you will have ample opportunity to broaden your experience and knowledge across the wider business tax areas, which will include international taxes & some M&A too.

Your role will be truly varied involving a range of complex tax advisory projects and tax compliance and reporting work. This means you will have the opportunity to enhance your generalist technical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering complex cross border tax advice
  • Tax accounting and tax audit support work
  • Corporate transaction support
  • Dealing with HM Revenue and Customs on technical matters
  • Tax compliance
  • Working closely with our transfer pricing and VAT technical specialists
  • Support with maintaining and building client relationships
  • Supporting the development of junior staff

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • ACA/CTA qualified, or newly qualified
  • Experience of advising clients on UK Corporate Tax issues.
  • Exposure to international tax issues and M&A tax projects is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as sound written and oral skills
  • Experience of assisting in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when working in diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them
  • The ability to exercise judgement and apply commercial thinking in making client recommendations.
