- Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals with senior management and stakeholders, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated, resources allocated, and preparatory work completed.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment on business analysis, development, testing, and implementation activities.
- Oversee the Testing & Quality Assurance phase, ensuring systems meet business requirements and are fit for purpose.
- Manage third-party vendors and ensure the quality of delivery within Trade Finance operations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Identify areas for enhancement within Trade Finance operations, ensuring efficiency improvements and compliance.
- Provide regular updates to senior management, ensuring transparency on project progress, risks, and key performance indicators.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager in Trade Finance, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Trade Finance Products and ability to challenge business stakeholders on system functionality and requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Trade Finance Systems (Eximbills highly desirable).
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT and business projects within complex regulatory environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business functions.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and the ability to oversee system testing and validation.
- Experience working in an Agile or hybrid project delivery environment.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are advantageous.
- £750 per day (Inside IR35)
- 6-month initial contract.
