Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented UK Treasury Manager to join our Client's finance team. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s cash, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk management in line with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funding across all operations.

Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash forecasting models.

Oversee the company’s banking arrangements and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.

Implement and manage hedging strategies to mitigate foreign exchange, interest rate, and other financial risks.

Ensure compliance with treasury policies, controls, and procedures.

Optimize working capital and monitor intercompany funding structures.

Lead treasury-related aspects of financing, including debt issuance, refinancing, and covenant compliance.

Support M&A activities with treasury due diligence and integration.

Manage bank account administration, including KYC and documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams (tax, legal, accounting) on treasury-related matters.

Produce regular treasury reports and provide insights to senior management.

Lead treasury systems improvements and automation projects.
Key Requirements:

ACT qualification or equivalent treasury/finance qualification.

Proven experience in corporate treasury, cash management, and financial risk management.

Strong understanding of treasury systems, banking platforms, and financial instruments.

Solid knowledge of UK and international banking regulations and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and relationship management abilities.

Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Proficiency in MS Excel and treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, Quantum).
Desirable:

Experience in a multinational or complex business environment.

Exposure to capital markets and debt issuance.

Familiarity with accounting standards relevant to treasury operations (e.g., IFRS 9).
