Valuations Director

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnered with a global firm in recruiting for their high performing Valuations team, who are a market leader in providing valuation advice and opinions to clients including private equity, investment funds (including debt funds), asset managers, tech start-ups and global blue-chip corporates.The business are looking to appoint an experienced Valuations professional at *Director Grade to support the expansion of the team.The firm will provide you with the opportunity to expand your career and further develop your experience as a commercial and technical adviser on critical value related matters.Clients seek the firm's world-class valuation advice and independent valuations, typically in situations where there is, or could be, a material value impact, including:

• M&A transactions and capital raising;
• Strategic decisions, including joint ventures and strategic partnership agreements;
• Fund / portfolio investments;
• Disputes, arbitration and mediation;
• Intra-group restructuring and tax valuations;
• Financial reporting; and
• Incentive schemes.

Your roleAs a Director within the team you will play an integral part in advising clients on value related matters.You will be expected to:

• Develop and apply technical and commercial insights in a valuation context;
• Manage and execute valuation engagements;
• Effectively manage, develop and coach more junior team members;
• Develop, review and interpret analysis and present clearly articulated, considered and insightful conclusions;
• Develop effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
• Actively pursue new revenue and business development opportunities; and
• Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture

Your professional skills, experience and attributes should include:

• Valuation experience gained either in an accounting / valuation firm, bank, private equity or similar institution;
• An interest and willingness towards leading business development activity and a drive towards client service excellence; and
• Exceptional financial analytical skills with proficiently in Excel.
