An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Financial Planner to join a leading financial planning team within a highly regarded professional services firm based in the City of London.

This is a well-structured and collaborative environment, offering strong internal referrals, high-quality clients, and full support across paraplanning, compliance, and operations. The role is ideal for an experienced adviser who enjoys client-facing work and wants to focus on relationship management and high-level planning without writing reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including partners of professional firms, business owners, and families.

  • Conduct in-depth client meetings, identify planning needs, and present tailored advice.

  • Collaborate closely with in-house tax, legal, and accountancy teams to deliver joined-up solutions.

  • Maintain the highest compliance and regulatory standards across all client work.

What They’re Looking For:
  • Chartered Financial Planner (or close to Chartered).

  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial planning, ideally within a reputable firm.

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships independently and confidently.

  • Organised, articulate, and professional — able to explain complex matters clearly.

  • This role is not suitable for those looking to transition from a paraplanning background.
