We're seeking a skilled Fire Operative to join a team maintaining life safety and security systems across a diverse property portfolio. You'll service, repair, and install fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire curtains, access control, and related systems.


What the Fire Operative will receive:
  • 40,386 salary + policy allowance (42,512 after 12 months, subject to performance)

Key Responsibilities of the Fire Operative:
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and installations of fire alarms, extinguishers, and security systems
  • Working in London
  • Maintain fire safety systems to ensure compliance and safety
  • Diagnose and resolve faults, keeping customers informed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels

Requirements for the Fire Operative:
  • Qualified to 18th Edition - 2nd Amendment
  • BS5839-1, BS5839-6
  • NICEIC Fire Detection units (1, 5 & 6)
  • Experience in fire and security environments, with strong knowledge of British Standards
  • City & Guilds or NVQ 3 preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
