Job Title: After School Club Assistant
Location: Primary School – East London
Pay: £13 per hour
Hours: Part-time, Weekdays Approx (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Term Time Only)
Start Date: Immediate Start
About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join our team at a vibrant and welcoming primary school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in a fun and safe environment outside of regular school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children aged 4–11 during after school activities.
- Set up and run games, creative activities, and snack times.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
- Work as part of a small team to create a warm, inclusive environment.
- Assist with setting up and tidying the club space.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (in a school, childcare, or voluntary setting).
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
