At Poppadom Indian Kitchen, our chefs create a vibrant tapestry of classic Indian and Anglo-Indian cuisine, blending authentic spices, traditional techniques, and boundless passion to deliver soulful flavors. The Wolf & Whistle Bar complements this culinary artistry with an expertly curated selection of wines, craft cocktails, and premium spirits, designed to elevate every guests experience. As a Bar Supervisor, youll take center stage, using your extensive bar expertise to create innovative drink menus, lead a talented bar team, and deliver a beverage experience that leaves guests raving.
Key Duties:
- Oversee the service of food and beverages within the outlets and maintain overall responsibility for the kitchen, food preparation and beverage service throughout the outlets.
- Take responsibility for stock, including ordering, acceptance, and maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation, and return of any sub-standard items.
- Review sales and beverage costs for the previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounts. Track actual against budget. Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.
What we would like from you:
- 2 years experience in a Food & Beverage environment as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, ideally in hotel industry
- A natural flair for customer service and passion for food & beverage
- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage, such as latest drinks and stock management.
- Food Safety or Food Hygiene qualification Level 2 or equivalent
- Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern: early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Team-oriented attitude
- Positive and caring personality
- Professional proficiency in English
Desirable (not essential but a plus!):
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Knowledge of Miros
