The Goring is currently looking for a full time Staff Dining Room Chef to join an impeccably English Hotel. The Goring features 69 sumptuous suites and rooms, each uniquely decorated with the ?nest furnishings. As the last remaining family-owned luxury hotel in London, it is renowned for its warm, intimate atmosphere and personalised service.
The Role of Staff Dining Room Chef:
- Prepare and present food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Create new and exciting recipes and support the team in Events held in the Staff Dining Room.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen teams to plan menus and coordinate food production schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with the team and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
What we are looking for in our new Staff Dining Room Chef?
- Previous experience in food production or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Proficient in culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and guests effectively.
- A passion for delivering high-quality service in a restaurant or dining setting is essential.
