Job Title: Fire & Security Field Line Manager - London - N/NW
Location: London - N/NW - hybrid
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000, plus company car or allowance (£4,800)
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to progress into a management role. Our Client is seeking a Fire & Security Field Line Manager to join the Service Department managing a team of up to 20 Engineers - managing field operations, handling escalations and driving performance and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support day-to-day engineering operations across the field team.
- Drive recruitment, on-boarding and continuous development of engineering staff.
- Monitor and enhance performance through coaching, training and regular appraisals.
- Oversee scheduling, including on-call rota management and providing cover where necessary.
- Act as a technical escalation point and manage site investigations.
- Ensure high standards through audits, RAMS, PPE compliance, toolbox talks and incident reviews.
- Deliver revenue-generating work for a portion of time, focusing on escalated and aged tasks.
- Conduct regular team meetings and foster a culture of learning and up-skilling.
- Comprehensive industry experience - 5 years plus fire & security knowledge
- Technical experience and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- Experience of working within a continually pressured environment and to tight operational deadlines
- Experience of leading, coaching and developing teams.
- 23 day's holiday excluding bank holidays, with the ability to increase up to 25 days.
