Early Years Practitioner Days/Hours: (Please see below)

  • 40 hours - 4 or 5 days a week
  • Shifts between 7.30am-6.30pm
  • 51 weeks per year as we close over the Christmas break.

*Please note we cannot accommodate school hours or term time

About the Role

In this role, you will support children’s learning and development, following the EYFS standards to create a warm and stimulating environment. You’ll work closely with children, parents, and carers, contributing to a high standard of care and education through engaging activities and a commitment to outdoor learning. This position would suit a newly qualified practitioner right up to a super qualified senior practitioner with buckets of knowledge to share. You will be based in the 1-2’s room.

Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities

  • Providing the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery.
  • Working as part of a passionate staff team and contributing to the running and development of the nursery.
  • Ensuring that children's learning and development are celebrated with the child and their families.
  • Using your knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage & child development to plan and implement interest-led, engaging learning activities on a daily basis.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
  • Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
  • Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
