Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lewisham to recruit a passionate and qualified Early Years Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced EYFS teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to work in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons within the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports every child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the EYFS framework

  • Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Contribute to wider school life, including events and professional development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within EYFS (placement or post-qualified experience)

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • A reflective, child-centred approach to teaching
