The Role – KS2 Class Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Tailor learning to meet individual needs, ensuring an inclusive education for all.
• Use assessment strategies effectively to track progress and adapt teaching to support all learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop exciting and innovative learning opportunities.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support children’s progress.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and whole-school events.
• Full time, permanent position

• UK QTS essential with experience teaching in KS2.
• Evidence of good and outstanding teaching practice.
• A passionate and reflective KS2 Teacher who is committed to delivering engaging, stimulating and inclusive lessons.
• Someone who values inclusion, diversity, and creativity in the classroom.
• A strong team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• A teacher with high expectations for both academic and personal development.
• Open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with tailored CPD opportunities available.
