Job Role - 7.5 Tonne Driver

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your primary responsibility will be the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels and mail between depots, homes, and businesses. You will represent the organisation professionally and courteously while adhering to all safety and driving regulations.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

The Candidate:

• Perform daily vehicle safety checks
• Efficiently plan routes for timely deliveries
• Deliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depot locations
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Carry out trunking duties between Whitechapel Delivery Office, Southwark and Rotherhithe Delivery Office, and Mount Pleasant Mail Centre
• Accurately use and maintain your digital tachograph
• Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the shift window

Requirements:

• Full UK Licence with Category C1 ( 7.5 Tonne Driver )
• A minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience
• Maximum 6 points on your licence - no DD/DR convictions
• 5 years of verifiable work history
• Willingness to undergo a UK criminal background check
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable, "can do" attitude
• Good customer-facing skills and ability to work independently

Shift Patterns Available:

• Dawn
• Early
• Evening
• Late
• Night

Pay Rates (Hourly): From19.31- 28.61 + overtime after 38 hours.
