Our client, a leading organisation dedicated to overseeing the management of one of the key roads into London, is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Co-ordinator to join their team in Blackwall, London.

Location: Conveniently situated just a 13-minute walk from East India train station, this role offers both accessibility and a vibrant work atmosphere.

About the Role: As an Administration Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of road space utilisation and project coordination. You will liaise with various stakeholders, including utilities and local authorities, while driving excellence in administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise and close road space permits on Street Manager, ensuring compliance with the annual lane closure program
  • Apply for Temporary Traffic Orders and collaborate with the Roads team and third parties to facilitate smooth project delivery
  • Manage the mailbox, ensuring timely responses and effective communication
  • Attend project meetings, recording and circulating minutes promptly
  • Maintain commercial and operational trackers, ensuring all data is current and accurate
  • Assist in Health & Safety compliance and manage documentation control effectively

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with Street Manager is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • A proactive and flexible approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement
