Administration plays a crucial role in the day-to-day life of an education department for the Offender Learning Sector by providing a wide range of administrative support to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the team, addressing both routine and specialist enquiries.
  • Communicate relevant information promptly to specific departments.
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, and ensure they are accurately passed on to the relevant person or team.
  • Undertake general administrative duties including managing correspondence and maintaining records.
  • Understand customers’ needs and build your own portfolio of customers, guiding them through the required processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle enquiries effectively.
  • Proficiency in using office software like MS Office and administrative systems.
